The state of New Jersey has emerged as a national leader in solar power installation, according to a recent announcement from Governor Jon Corzine.
The governor stated recently that solar installations in New Jersey have increased ten-fold since 2006 to a total of 100 megawatts of installed energy. This is said to be enough to power about 15,000 homes statewide.
“Energy infrastructure projects such as these will enhance our economy, generate ‘green’ jobs, and create a more secure energy future for our state and our citizens,” said Corzine, noting that the federal stimulus bill has also played a significant role in his state’s progress on clean energy.Read Full Article
