NCSEA to hold ‘Green energy’ forum in Charlotte

Amory Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute, makes a return trip to Charlotte next month to be the keynote speaker for a two-day forum on Growing North Carolina’s Green Economy.

Amory Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute, makes a return trip to Charlotte next month to be the keynote speaker for a two-day forum on Growing North Carolina’s Green Economy.

The forum will be held Oct. 8-9 at the Charlotte Convention Center. Lovins will speak at the forum’s opening the first evening.

Lovins is recognized as one of the nation’s leading experts on renewable energy and energy efficiency. He was last in Charlotte on Aug. 7 at an event sponsored by Duke Energy to promote the regional initiative to turn Charlotte into a hub for energy research, production and manufacturing.Read Full Article
