Some Wisconsin business leaders say they haven’t seen evidence yet that the federal stimulus package is creating much in the way of so-called “green jobs.” But they say the upcoming year may be a different story.
President Obama and Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle have said the stimulus package has helped prevent the unemployment rate from getting worse. They also say that federal dollars set aside for energy programs, green infrastructure and related areas will pay off in work for people. Tom Boldt is CEO of Appleton-based Boldt Construction.
