Want to know where to apply for the green jobs that climate change legislation might create? Environmental Defense Fund has a map.

The advocacy group created a U.S. map of companies that would likely grow if Congress regulates the amount of greenhouse gases the nation may emit. The growth companies are those that make or install products to help cut energy use or to generate energy without emitting the gases thought to contribute to climate change.

So, for example, the Dallas portion of the map includes Texas Instruments Inc., which makes solar power inverters and something called a multi strong LED driver, Broadstar Wind Systems, which makes windmill for rooftops, and Atrium Windows and Doors, which makes Energy Star windows.Read Full Article
