Mayor Julian Castro has formed a committee of high-level individuals to recommend public policy that will help create jobs in the new “green” economy.
The Green Jobs Leadership Council will be chaired by Larry Zinn, an informal adviser to the mayor, and will include more than a dozen prominent dignitaries and executives such as Alex Briseno, chairman of the board for the San Antonio Water System, Ricardo Romo, president of the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Mike Burke, chairman and founder of Clean Tech Forum.Read Full Article
