In fact, more than any other state, Oregon’s future economy rides on whether the U.S. Senate finishes with health care this fall and turns then to take up the energy and climate bill. As U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden said the other day, what Texas is to fossil fuels, Oregon can be to wind, solar and other renewable energy sources.
