Novozymes has selected Blair, Nebraska as the location for a new 30-acre production facility that will produce enzymes for existing corn-based ethanol and later enzymes for cellulosic ethanol production. As a result, Novozymes is seeking a Formulation Operator to join our global team.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting equipment problems as needed
• Preparing raw materials for use in process equipment and operating all process equipment
• Taking and analyzing production samples
• Responsible for the processing of any necessary liquid re-tapping and bulk loads
• Making recommendations for improving yields and throughputs
• Assisting in planning of batch flows and equipment utilization to avoid plant bottlenecks.
Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently
• Good demonstrated reading and math skills.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and some weekends.
• CDL certification preferred.
• Must have good eye- hand coordination, depth perception and the ability to use both hands at the same time.
